وصف الوظيفة:

تسعى منظمة Al Midan NGO إلى تعيين مدرس/ة دعم (Retention Support Teacher) للعمل في مشروع Makani في الشمال. سيتمثل دور المدرس/ة في تقديم الدعم التعليمي في بيئة غير رسمية تركز على التعليم الشامل وحماية الأطفال. ستكون المسؤولية الرئيسية هي تعزيز الالتزام بالبرنامج التعليمي ومتابعة أداء الأطفال في الأنشطة المختلفة ضمن إطار مشروع Makani.

يهدف مشروع Makani إلى توفير خدمات متكاملة للأطفال والشباب في لبنان باستخدام مراكز مجتمعية متعددة الخدمات (MSCC) المنتشرة في الشمال. يتضمن المشروع تقديم برامج تعليمية، حماية للأطفال، تنمية الطفولة المبكرة (ECD)، مهارات الحياة، ودعم التفاعل الشبابي، بهدف الوصول إلى الأطفال والشباب الضعفاء من السوريين واللبنانيين في المجتمعات المضيفة والمستوطنات غير الرسمية.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

• الامتثال لسياسات وإجراءات المنظمة: الالتزام بسياسات Al Midan NGO بما في ذلك سياسات حماية الطفل.
• دعم تعليم الأطفال: العمل مع الأطفال لتعزيز مشاركتهم في الأنشطة التعليمية، وضمان تحقيق الأهداف التعليمية.
• العمل ضمن فريق: التعاون مع أعضاء الفريق والعمل بتكامل لتحقيق أهداف المشروع.
• تخطيط الأنشطة وتنفيذها: إعداد وتنفيذ الأنشطة التعليمية اليومية بما يتماشى مع الجدول الزمني المعتمد من المنظمة.
• إجراء التقييمات: إعداد التقييمات الأولية والنهائية للأطفال في كل دورة تعليمية.
• التوثيق وإعداد التقارير: تسجيل الحضور اليومي والمساعدة في إعداد التقارير الشهرية والربع سنوية.
• بناء علاقات إيجابية: تعزيز التواصل مع الأطفال وأسرهم والمجتمع المحلي لضمان مشاركتهم في الأنشطة المختلفة.
• المساهمة في الاجتماعات: المشاركة في الاجتماعات الأسبوعية لمتابعة تقدم العمل.

المتطلبات المهنية:

• المؤهل العلمي: شهادة بكالوريوس في مجال ذي صلة بالتعليم أو رياض الأطفال (قد يتم قبول معلمين ذوي خبرة استثنائية من وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي).
• الخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن سنة في التدريس أو العمل مع الأطفال.
• الكفاءات الشخصية:
  • القدرة على التواصل بشكل فعال شفهيًا وكتابياً.
  • فهم جيد لاحتياجات الأطفال التنموية.
  • الخبرة في العمل ضمن مجموعة.
  • إتقان ثلاث لغات: العربية، الإنجليزية، والفرنسية.

Job Description:

Al Midan NGO is recruiting a Retention Support Teacher for the Makani Project in North Lebanon. The teacher will be responsible for providing educational support in a non-formal setting, with a focus on retaining children’s engagement and monitoring their progress throughout the project cycle.

The Makani Project offers a comprehensive set of services to children and youth in Lebanon through Multi-Service Community Centres (MSCC) across the north. The project includes educational programs, child protection, early childhood development (ECD), life skills, and youth engagement support, all aimed at helping vulnerable Syrian and Lebanese children in host communities and informal settlements.

Major Responsibilities:

• Adhere to Organizational Policies: Comply with Al Midan’s child protection policies and the code of conduct.
• Support Children’s Education: Engage with children to encourage participation in educational activities and ensure their academic progress.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work in a team to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Plan and Deliver Activities: Prepare and implement daily educational activities according to the approved schedule.
• Assess Children’s Progress: Conduct initial and final assessments for each child during each educational cycle.
• Documentation and Reporting: Record daily attendance and assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports.
• Foster Positive Relationships: Establish strong relationships with children, their families, and community members.
• Participate in Meetings: Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss progress and strategies.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (kindergarten or education-related majors).
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in teaching or working with children.
• Skills:
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with child development.
  • Experience working in group settings.
  • Proficiency in Arabic, English, and French.
