منظمة Intersos هي منظمة غير حكومية دولية تعمل على تقديم المساعدة للأشخاص في حالات الخطر، ضحايا الكوارث الطبيعية والنزاعات المسلحة. تم تأسيسها في عام 1992 بدعم من الاتحاد الإيطالي للنقابات العمالية، وتهدف إلى تقديم المساعدة الإنسانية القائمة على قيم التضامن والعدالة وحقوق الإنسان والمساواة.

تبحث منظمة Intersos عن اختصاصي/ة في العمل الاجتماعي للانضمام إلى فريقها في البقاع. سيكون المسؤول عن تسهيل وتنفيذ الأنشطة الجماعية المتعلقة بالحماية، بما في ذلك حماية الأطفال والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي (GBV)، وتوفير الدعم وبناء القدرات للمجتمعات المحلية لزيادة الوعي وتعزيز الوقاية من مخاطر الحماية.

المهام الرئيسية:

1. إجراء جلسات توعية حول مواضيع الحماية والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي (GBV) داخل مراكز Intersos وأثناء الأنشطة الميدانية.
2. تقديم الدعم النفسي الاجتماعي في مواقع آمنة ومناسبة ثقافيًا ضمن المجتمعات المحلية.
3. إقامة ودعم الهياكل المجتمعية لمعالجة قضايا الحماية على المستوى المجتمعي من خلال المنظمات المجتمعية.
4. إحالة الأفراد المعرضين للمخاطر إلى مقدمي الخدمات المناسبة.
5. التخطيط وتصميم الأنشطة النفسية الاجتماعية المجتمعية بالتعاون مع الأخصائيين النفسيين.
6. دعم وتدريب المتطوعين المجتمعيين والمنظمات المجتمعية لتيسير جلسات توعية حول الحماية والعنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي.
7. مشاركة في اجتماعات المشاريع وحضور الدورات التدريبية الداخلية والخارجية وفقًا لاحتياجات ومتطلبات المشروع.
8. تقديم التدريب على مواضيع الحماية، العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي، وغيرها من المواضيع ذات الصلة للمجتمعات المحلية والمنظمات المجتمعية.

متطلبات الوظيفة:

• التعليم: شهادة جامعية في العمل الاجتماعي.
• الخبرة: سنة إلى سنتين من الخبرة العملية المتقدمة.
• المهارات:
  • مهارات تواصل وتنظيم قوية.
  • قدرة على التفاوض، الوساطة، والتمثيل نيابة عن مستخدمي الخدمة.
  • امتلاك رخصة قيادة صادرة منذ أكثر من سنتين.
• اللغات: طلاقة في اللغتين العربية والإنجليزية (كتابة وقراءة).

Job Description:

INTERSOS is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) working to provide assistance to people in danger, victims of natural disasters, and armed conflicts. Established in 1992 with the support of the Italian Federation of Trade Unions, INTERSOS operates based on values of solidarity, justice, human dignity, equal rights, and respect for diversity. INTERSOS works particularly with vulnerable and unprotected individuals, providing support in the world’s poorest regions.

INTERSOS is looking for a Social Worker to join their team in Bekaa, Lebanon. The Social Worker will be responsible for facilitating and implementing group activities related to protection, including child protection (CP) and gender-based violence (GBV), and providing support and capacity-building for community volunteers to increase awareness and prevent protection risks.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Conduct awareness-raising sessions on protection and GBV-related topics in INTERSOS centers and during mobile community outreach activities.
2. Provide community-based psychosocial support in safe and culturally appropriate locations within communities.
3. Establish and support community-based group structures to address protection concerns at the community level through community-based organizations.
4. Refer individuals at risk to appropriate service providers.
5. Design and plan community-focused PSS activities in collaboration with psychologists.
6. Support community volunteers/community-based organizations in facilitating awareness-raising sessions on GBV principles, case management, referral, and counseling.
7. Identify and train community volunteers to help implement protection activities.
8. Provide training on protection, GBV, and related topics to community-based organizations.
9. Follow up on protection cases and report to the Protection Officer.
10. Participate in project meetings and attend internal and external training as needed.

Education and Qualifications:

• University Degree in Social Work.
• Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar field.
• Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, mediate, and advocate on behalf of service users.
  • Valid driver’s license (for at least 2 years).
• Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
